      Josh was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. He proudly served our country in the United States Army, receiving numerous awards, including an Army Achievement medal and an Army Accommodation medal for outstanding performance and meritorious service. He earned his Bachelor's in political science at the University of South Florida and his Master's in Business Administration from the prestigious Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Josh has also earned a Florida Real Estate Salesperson License, a Florida Real Estate Brokers License, a Florida Community Association Managers License, and a North Carolina Provisional Brokers License.

    Before real estate, Josh worked as a marketing analyst at one of the world's largest food brokers. He successfully marketed products for well-known brands such as Mrs. Smiths, Dole, and Keebler to grocery chains that included Publix and Winn Dixie. There are staple items featured in grocery stores today that he played a role in earning their spot on the shelf. While climbing the corporate ladder, Josh also began to invest in real estate and fell in love with all aspects of the industry, which drove him to earn his real estate license in 2000. Josh left the corporate world and joined a boutique South Tampa brokerage, quickly becoming one of their top real estate professionals. Josh began to assist with training new agents, and his ability to teach and produce secured him an offer from a local franchise looking to launch its first office in Tampa. Josh accepted the offer and the new office flourished. This success gave Josh the knowledge and confidence he needed to take on the challenge of opening his brokerage.

       Majestic Real Estate Services opened its doors in 2005, making Josh, who was 25 yrs. old at the time, one of the youngest Real Estate Broker/Owners in the entire country. Josh ensured he took personal responsibility for training his entire sales force, and through his training programs, agents under his tutelage have achieved great success. Most recently, one of his agents ranked among the top 2% of all agents in Hillsborough County, the third largest county in Florida; she also ranked 100th among all Hispanic Real Estate Professionals in the South Eastern United States. Unlike most local real estate brokerages, Majestic performed real estate services in multiple categories. This included Residential and Commercial sales transactions, asset management services, and the management of entire homeowner associations. This broad scope of business allowed Josh to develop skills and experience in a wide range of real estate categories providing him with a wealth of knowledge unavailable to many of his competitors. This unique diversification not only allowed Majestic to survive but prosper during the great recession of 2007 - 2009, when thousands of companies were forced to close their doors. 

       In 2010, Majestic's Carrollwood office leased a portion of its space to the renowned Landlord Academy, which allowed Josh to pursue his passion further to teach by working with the academy as a senior instructor for their state-certified real estate continuing education courses. Josh's work at the academy showcased his expertise in real estate and teaching ability, resulting in an offer to become the Broker of a Luxury real estate company owned by published real estate author Bryan Chavis and NFL Super Bowl MVP, Ray Lewis. Josh accepted and successfully ran both real estate companies until the latter relocated out of the Tampa Bay area. Josh continued to build the value of Majestic Real Estate Services for over 15 years, successfully steering the organization through the global Covid-19 pandemic making 2020 one of the company's most profitable years, which allowed him to successfully market and sell the company at its highest valuation in 2021. 

         Josh's passion for teaching others and effectively managing teams to exceed their goals is his superpower. Every day he continues to successfully navigate rapidly changing markets, providing tremendous value to his clients through decades of knowledge and experience while diligently pouring into the next generation of young business professionals. Josh is a professor of real estate at Purdue University, speaks at corporate and training events, and has been a guest on vaious radio programs and podcasts.
